Trip Overview

The intensity will impact all senses. Nestled on its own spectacular 70 acre peninsula, this classic Canadian Wilderness Resort welcomes you to a world of difference where you will find cozy rooms and cabins, great food and the ultimate eco-adventure experience! Set among old-growth forest of towering hemlocks and red cedars, the wilderness lodge offers guests comfortable accommodation, fine cuisine and spellbinding experiences. Spend your day sea kayaking, saltwater fishing, beachcombing, heli-venturing, hiking , or taking a nature cruise, and then return to the comfort of a first-class resort.

Itinerary & Departure Dates

Approximately 8 km of private trails wind through the forests that encircle the Lodge. Trail maps are supplied that indicate the degree of hiking difficulty. As you weave in and out of the rainforest, you will break through the trees along rocky crags and cliffs and be greeted with spectacular views of the Barkley Sound Broken Island Group. The trails are designed for minimal impact on the environment. Planners at the lodge will help you plan a 20 mile hiking expedition, or perhaps a 1/2 mile after-dinner stroll. Whatever your desire for adventure, you will find that a wilderness lodge is the best place to be. Day trips to Bamfield for a long walk along the boardwalk or day hikes on the famous West Coast Trail including Brady's Beach are some of the options
