water skiing, surfing, and cocktails on-deck are favourite pastimes.

Evening brings percussive quiet, and indoor games at fireside Designated a Biosphere Reserve Area, Clayoquot Sound is a nature
lover's paradise. Black bears, cougars, deer, elk, eagles, orcas, humpback and grey whales, seals, and many other wild marine creatures make the Sound their home.
Daytreks to the ancient rainforests and steamy thermal pools of Hot Springs Cove are celebrated year-round. Evening brings percussive quiet, and indoor games at fireside Designated a Biosphere Reserve Area, Clayoquot Sound is a nature lover's paradise. Black bears, cougars, deer, elk, eagles, orcas, humpback and grey whales, seals, and many other wild marine creatures make the Sound their home. In addition to an extraordinary range of day and night treks, an ex-U.S. Navy LCM-6 landing craft, "Hu Tla Pi" or "Ocean
Spirit", ferries up to a dozen horses and riders to remote locations throughout the Sound. Secluded beaches, deserted islands, and hundreds of miles of abandoned logging roads are now within reach. Explore out vintage 1907 tug "Ivan Ho" at sea level by kayak or canoe, or sail about the bay in our "windrunner" sea kayak with sails.
