Trip Overview

Winter trek in dramatic mountain region, Berber villages & Marrakech Jebel Sahro lies between the Atlas and the Sahara, benefitting from the warmth of the desert in winter and remaining open for trekking long after snow has closed higher routes. Our fully supported trek reveals the splendours of this remote land.
Although the sun shines throughout winter, it can get bitterly cold - especially at night. A good 4-season sleeping bag, sleeping
mat, warm clothing, walking boots and a comfortable daysac are all essential. Graded 'moderate/demanding' (4-5 hrs walking per day with two longer days of 6-7hrs).
