Trip Overview

Cairo & Pyramids, Aswan & Luxor, 2-day journey by Nile felucca. This short break takes in the sites of Cairo, Luxor and Aswan, and includes a sailing journey along the Nile by traditional felucca. A great way to see the real Egypt.
Graded 'gentle'. A busy trip punctuated by two relaxing days aboard a felucca. Be prepared for simple conditions. Sleeping bag esential.

Itinerary & Departure Dates

Day 1 Join tour Cairo
Day 2 Cairo. Visit Egyptian Museum, Pyramids & Sphinx; overnight train to Aswan
Day 3/4 Aswan; explore bazaar. Optional visit to Abu Simbel or camel trek
Day 5/6 Felucca on the Nile		 Day 7 Continue by felucca, visit Kom Ombo temple; drive to Luxor
Day 8 Luxor; Valley of the Kings & Karnak temple. Overnight train
Day 9 Cairo; free for optional excursions
Day 10 Tour ends Cairo
