Trip Overview

Cairo, Luxor & Aswan, Relax on Red Sea coast,Sail by traditional Nile felucca. Our small group size allows us the flexibility of seeing not only the great and famous ancient monuments, but also the lesser-known side of Egypt - its age-old trails, timeless villages and friendly people.
A fun and relaxed trip, graded 'gentle'. Be prepared for basic conditions on felucca, and for one long driving day. Bring a sleeping bag.

Day 1 Join tour Cairo
Day 2 In Cairo; visit Pyramids, museum. Overnight train to Aswan
Day 3/4 Aswan; optional camel trek and visit to Abu Simbel
Day 5-7 Felucca journey: 3 days and nights sailing the Nile		 Day 8-10 Luxor; Valley of the Kings, Karnak
Day 11/12 Hurghada, Red Sea coast. Boat trip to reef
Day 13/14 Drive to Cairo. Free for optional excursions
Day 15 Tour ends Cairo
