Trip Overview

A varied journey to discover desert, mountain, the souks of Marrakech, Berber villages, old sea pirate ports and the cultural
legacy of imperial Meknes and Fez.
A cultural journey with a variety of interest. Our three-day walk in the Atlas mountains is graded ëmoderateí (3-5 hrs per day - mules carry baggage). You should be prepared for basic conditions in the Berber villages, but it is a fascinating experience. Camel riding is optional, though the walk to our Bedouin camp takes approx. 2-3 hrs. Bring trail/walking boots, a sleeping bag and sleeping mat.

Day 2/3 Fez; walking tour. Visit Moulay Idriss, Volubilis & Meknes
Day 4 Long drive to Erfoud. Continue by 4WD to Merzouga
Day 5 Camel trek to Bedouin camp in desert
Day 6 Return to Erfoud by camel & 4WD. Drive to Todra Gorge
Day 7 Walk in Todra Gorge, drive to Ait Benhaddou
Day 8/9 Atlas village walks
