Trip Overview

Authentic Greece in a unique combination of caique sailing, gentle walking and sightseeing. The Aegean island of Evia remains
refreshingly untouched and little-visited despite being close to Athens. For those who are nostalgic for the Greece of yesteryear,
this is the ideal place to visit. The caique (pronounced cay-eekee) has a relaxed and intimate atmosphere and will carry us along the stunning Evia coastline. Between exploring remote coves, sandy beaches, a spectacular fjord, and exclusive private islands, there is always plenty of time for swimming, snorkelling, or sunbathing on deck. Though the 8 cabins are compact, they all have en-suite facilities and there is plenty of deck space, where we tend to spend most of our time. We take (optional) excursions each day into the surrounding countryside, hiking to typical old white-washed villages, as well as visiting the ruins and ancient buildings for which Greece is justly renowned. An excellent climate, wonderful food and the warm hospitality of the crew make this an unforgettable experience.
