Trip Overview
Leisurely Pedaling amid the Vineyards Life is lived well in Bordeaux,
a refined region where villages stand watch over gentle hills, lazy
rivers meander through flower-filled meadows and the perfect marriage
of sun and shade, soil and slope gives life to grapes that yield the
world’s finest wines. If you’re seeking a special vacation
that blends easy-going activity, heavenly cuisine, award-winning vintages
and out-of-this world accommodations, Backroads invites you to experience
the good life for yourself. Join us in Bordeaux, where exquisite spas
offer innovative treatments, the golf courses are as well-tended as
the vineyards and luxurious living is a foregone conclusion.
This trips goal has been to constantly improve and perfect each and
every guest’s travel experience. People take this trip year
in and year out because they know this tour operator is somewhat obsessed
about quality. About getting the details right. Spending time meticulously
researching routes, visiting new hotels, uncovering the cultural wonders
and eating at more trattorias and Michelin-starred restaurants than
we would care to admit. Creating a unique vacation can often feel
like a full-time job. And it is. This trip will set the stage for
you to have an authentic world-class experience.
