Trip Overview

Walk of the Gods, emerald coloured waters, the ruins of Pompeii. The outstanding beauty of the Amalfi coast can only be fully appreciated on foot. On this 8-day walking tour, follow ancient pathways and trails linking isolated farms, quaint villages, and exquisite churches and historic monasteries. Most of the walking route hugs the coastline with wonderful vistas from village to village.

There is plenty of free time to relax and take in the addictive Italian atmosphere and lust for life with a glass of wine. We stay at Agritururismo Saint Alfonso, formerly a 16th century monastery, where the friendly and hospitable staff is unsurpassed. The monastery is surrounded by colorful gardens, open terraces and endless staircases leading out to lemon tree groves and grape vines. Enjoy your meals in an open-air dining area that overlooks the crystalline waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Savor a glass of local wine along with a lovely home cooked meal after a long day of hiking.
