How to Book

Reservation Procedures

Reserving and booking your trip with Big Earth Adventure is easy, convenient and fast. When you have found the trip you want to take on our website, simply contact us! Give us a call, Monday to Friday from 9:00 am to 6:00 pm PST and we will be happy to reserve your trip for you. We will be able to tell you about trip availability, prices and dates and answer any other questions you might have. If you cannot find the quite the right trip, call us as we have many suggestions for you that are not listed on the web site. Once our knowledgable Adventure Specialists have confirmed that there is still space on the trip, they will fax you the Reservation Form. Once you fax the form back to us, we will confirm your spaces and respond within 24 hours with a confirmation, as well as any questions or further information you may need to book your trip.

Deposits

We require a deposit in order to reserve a trip. Once the deposit is secured and your trip is confirmed...you better get packing! The deposit can be made by Visa, MasterCard, American Expresspersonal cheque or direct bank deposit.

Balance Payment

Once you have made a reservation, the balance payment is due 70 days prior to departure. We will give you a reminder call that the balance is due. The balance can be paid by Visa, Mastercard,Cheque or direct bank deposit. If payment is not received when due, Big Earth reserves the rightto cancel the reservation. If you are booking your trip within 70 days prior to departure, the entire balance must be paid at the time of booking. ALL RATES QUOTED ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE

Pre-Departure Information

Once you have made your trip reservation and given us your deposit, we will send you your Pre-Departure information. You will receive this in the mail shortly after you book your trip. Some trips also offer updated information dossiers that will be sent to you 3 weeks prior toyour departure.

Last Minute Bookings

Love them! One thing to note is if book your trip 45 days or less prior to departure, we will need to add a $30 USD handling charge to your invoice for the use of an expedited courier.

Big Earth Adventure Cancellation Policy

Each adventure trip, has their own cancellation procedures. We strongly recommend purchase of trip cancellation and trip interruption insurance.

Price and Itinerary Changes

All rates listed on this site are quoted per person based on the most current average exhangerate and local tour operator pricing at time of publishing. All fares, rates and prices quoted are subject to change without notice. Trip schedules and itineraries are subject to change due to unexpected happenings......it's and adventure tour after all! Big Earth Adventure appreciates your flexibility in these circumstances.

Travel Documents

Most International travel requires a passport and sometimes a visa. Visa information varies by country and you are responsible for obtaining the necessary travel documentation through your country of destination's Consulate or Embassy. Please go to our "Before you go" section listed on each destination page. There is some brief visa information, but these requirements change oftenso please check with the consulate for the most current information.
