Day 1: Bangkok. This city has a frenetic pace all of its own, so get into the swing of things and explore! Wander the markets or check out the royal barges in their own musuem.

Days 2 - 3: Three Pagoda Pass. A twisty road through dramatic mountains leads us to Sangklaburi. Enjoy a day trip to the Three Pagodas Pass and visit one of the Intrepid Foundation's community projects, the local orphanage.

Day 4: Hilltribes. Try speaking some Thai to the local children, learn how customs and religion influence everyday life in a Karen village and rise early to visit the produce market. Be a part of Thailand, not just a visitor!

Day 5: Kanchanaburi. Visit the Hellfire Pass Museum and the infamous Bridge over the River Kwai.
.
Days 6 & 7: Teak House. Experience a homestay in a traditional teak house and then spend the morning buying spices in the local market, before catching a longtail boat back to the city.

Days 8 & 9: Bangkok. Enjoy more time to explore Bangkok. Visit Wat Pho and the Grand Palace and sample the delicious street food on offer.
For trips that run from May to October...
