Days 1 - 4: Beijing. The breathtaking Tiananmen Square, mysterious Forbidden City and 2,000 year old Great Wall are just a few of the attractions. Beijing has a wealth of history.

Days 5 - 7: Xian. Thousands of ancient statues face east in battle formation. These extraordinary Terracotta Warriors are a must see. As an ancient capital, Xian has an abundance of cultural wonders.

Days 8 - 9: Chengdu Giant Panda Sanctuary. Get up close and personal with the gorgeous Giant Pandas. Chengdu, home of spicy Sichuan cuisine has a great history of tea drinking. Relax in a famous teahouse with the locals, always animated and always noisy.

Days 10 -12: Emei shan. Stopping en route at Leshan, we witness the world's biggest stone Buddha and join the pilgrims on the mystical holy mountain of Emei Shan. Spectacular views abound, from lush subtropical rainforest with clear mountain streams to old growth forest and picturesque monasteries.

Days 13 - 16
: Yangzi River. The dynamic Yangzi River is the lifeblood for millions of people. Experience being a part of the traffic on this hard working waterway, be immersed in the myths and history and witness the evolving scenery of the Three Gorges, created by the world's largest hydro electric dam and reservior.

Days 17 - 19: Guilin Region. A traveller's delight, Yangshuo is surrounded by sublime limestone karsts rising majestically from fertile rice paddies. Cycle the countryside, take a magical trek along the river or climb a karst for absolutely stunning views.

Days 20 - 21: Hong Kong. Captivating Hong Kong is an enticing international city with a touch of old China. A visit to the peak with give those fabulous views over Victoria Harbour, the waters of which can only be experienced with a Star ferry ride.
