Itinerary

Day 1: Arrive Moshi and transfer to Springlands hotel.

Day 2: Drive from Moshi to and tour Manyara National Parks, approx. 4 hours drive. When you approach the lake Manyara National Parks from the east, the Rift Valley escarpment looms on the horizon forming an impressive backdrop to the lake. In the tall trees of the ground water, forest monkey leap from branch to branch, on the slope of the escarpment elephant stand in the shade of acacia trees. After a picnic lunch, you continue the other side of this pretty little national park particularly around Lake Manyara where there are thousands of birds. Overnight at the Migunga Camp. Full board

Day 3: The morning day drive to Serengeti via Olduvai Gorge.Olduvai George is an archaeological site located in the eastern Serengeti plains, in which early human fossils ware first discovered. It has the amazing landscape that resulted from the tectonic forces which created the Great Rift Valley million of years ago. Then in the evening you enjoy the night game drive. Dinner and Overnight at the Ikoma Bush. Full board

Day 4: A full day tour the Serengeti National Park is beginning, to the north the landscape gradually becomes more hilly and wooded. Damaged trees show that this is becoming elephant country, while buffalo, zebra, giraffe and gazelle abound. The buffalo populations have multiplied, benefiting the main preditors-lion, cheeter and hyena. In the afternoon you have a picnic lunch, in the evening you return to Ikoma Bush for dinner and overnight.

Day 5: After breakfast,another full day game drive at Serengeti National Park.Remember Serengeti has the greatest concentration of plains game in Africa and the most famous National Park in the World.Overnight at Ikoma Bush. Full board

Day 6: To complement your wonderful game drive in the World famous Serengeti, the camp offer various activities to make your safari a lifetime experience! Walking safaris across Ikoma-Serengeti plain, bicycling activities to vantage points, historical and cultural sites, watching cultural dances in the night, watching nocturnal animals by moonlight and other fun activities. Overnight is at Ikoma Bush. Full board

Day 7: The morning day game drive at Serengeti, and then later the half day drive to Ngorongoro Crater. This is undoubtedly the best place to see black rhino in Tanzania as well as the prides of lion that includes the magnificent black manned males. There are lots of colorful flamingoes and the variety of water birds. Other game-leopard, cheetah, hyena and lots of other members of the antelope family and small mammals of sorts are also found. Then, in the late evening drive to the Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge for dinner and overnight.(No Parmanent Tented)

Day 8: After Breakfast drive to Tarangire The three and a half hours drive to Tarangire National Park. The Tarangire Park has the greatest concentration of wildlife outside the Serengeti ecosystem. The Tarangire mobs of Elephant are easily encountered, wet or dry. The swamps, tinged green year round, are the focus for 550 bird’s varieties, the most breeding species in one habitat anywhere in the World. Overnight at Tarangire Porini.

Day 9: After the breakfast, morning activities with the bushmen. They are often willing for visitors to come and see their simple bush homes where the tree canopy alone or a cave provides them with shelter. They live entirely off the bush and from hunting. After getting such special opportunity to walk with the bushmen, hunting or gather honey and insects from the bush you transfer to Moshi at the Springlands Hotel bed and breakfast.
